Last Saturday and Sunday, Fr Jesmond announced all the faithful attending our community that His Grace Mgr Cremona requested him to carry out his pastoral care and liturgical duties in another community, that of Cospicua. In a sincere heartfelt announcement Fr Jesmond said that he will keep on serving our community until Sunday 7th September as from Monday 8th he will be celebrating regular Mass in Cospicua Parish Church.

As we all thank him for this wonderful spiritual experience throughout the five years he spent with us, we promise him all our support and prayers.

A Thanksgiving Mass will be celebrated. Date and time to be announced.

Robert Galea, the Maltese seminarian who is powerfully anointed in leading people into praise and worship, had the wonderful opportunity of singing twice in front of 200,000 people last night during the World Youth Day being held in Sydney. He wrote in his blog that it was just a surreal experience!

He will also be singing at today's Papal Mass between 7pm and 9pm followed by a sleep out under the stars at Southern Cross Precinct. Robert Galea is continuing his pastoral formation in Melbourne Australia and will be ordained a priest in 2010.
